Where does time go?…. ella georgia opened its doors a year ago on 25th July 2009.  For me it really was a dream come true.  I had talked about taking ella georiga to the high street for a very long time and it was a very big step.  But with the decision taken we had just three weeks to bring it to life - but we did it and what a success.

I have to admit that I was extremely nervous about launching a new outlet on the high street, in what has been one of the hardest financial climates this country has witnessed in a long time.  However our customers have been extremely supportive and very loyal, enabling us to have an extremely successful first year.  So thank you, so so much for supporting us - without you we would not still be here.

It has been such a busy year. Our very own Laura Petyt launched her first collection this winter and is working hard on new pieces for her Autumn 2010 collection.  We introduced over 30 new designers to our collections: Rie Elise Larsen, NV London Calcutta, Bellarina, Hultquist, Jan Milne to name but a few - bringing you the best design talent from both the UK and across the world. In addition to many new designs from our long standing favourite designers.

So what about the future…… We are very excited about the year ahead.  ella georgia will be launching its first clothing range this Autumn ‘The Wardrobe’ with loungewear, and gorgeous lace jackets and dresses and knitwear.

By popular demand we are working hard on a new ‘Boho Chic’ collection for our very first mail order catalogue and looking for the ideal premises for our second boutique. So life at the ella georgia HQ will continue to move at a pace in to 2011 bringing you so much more - ethically sourced jewellery and accessories that will make you both look good and feel good too.
