Designer, stylist and entrepreneur Caroline Rose is a practicing aromatherapist who develops all of the product formulations herself with hand–picked, UK–sourced ingredients and professionally blended essential oils.

Packaged in traditional tins, French glass bottles, and boxes richly decorated with images of deco flapper girls, dancers and show girls, the beautiful range is inspired by a love of all things vintage, romantic and decadently elegant. This gorgeous range will appeal to all ages, as no one will be able to resist the deliciously girly treats that epitomise pure femininity.

When Patricia and Caroline Rose bought an old druggists shop in Yorkshire, they began a project that would grow and develop over several years and become not just a family business but a way of life that would incorporate both their interests and pastimes too. The mother and daughter team are avid collectors of original mahogany fittings, glass cabinets and their beautiful contents, and fascinated by the history of the shop, they began restoring the interior to its former Victorian splendour and a quirky but elegant beauty apothecary was the result.

Wanting a range of products to fit in with the style of the shop, Caroline Rose created Rose & Co. - preparations based on traditional recipes using natural, old-apothecary ingredients. Her first product was Rose Petal Salve, a rose-scented beauty balm made by hand on the Aga at home. Quickly picked up by the beauty press, Rose Petal Salve became a cult must-have product.
Caroline uses the delicacy and elegance of the packaging in her vast collection of vintage cosmetics and perfume bottles as inspiration for her designs.

Rose Petal Salve

From Rose & Co, this rose scented salve soothes and smoothes chapped lips, but can also be used for a multitude of other uses. Kate Winslet and Paris Hilton both swear by the pretty pink salve to achieve a subtle pink glow on their lips and cheeks. There seems to be no end to the uses of this magical little balm, the perfect all–rounder from Rose & Co.

With packaging inspired by a long–forgotten era, the traditional ointment tins add a touch of glamour and boudoir chic to any make up bag, and are the perfect size to slip into your handbag for on–the–spot emergencies.

This rose scented salve soothes and smoothes chapped lips, and can also be worn as a lip gloss on its own or as a glossy top coat over lipstick, as an eye gloss on brow bones or mixed with shimmer powder to give an extra glamorous glow. It can be used to tame brows and condition and define lashes, to soften cuticles on fingers & toes and to smooth elbows and knees.
